Cycling events in the South East of England
Surrey Hills, North Downs, South Downs, and the Kent & Sussex lanes. The UK's busiest cycling region.
The South East packs more cycling events per square kilometre than anywhere else in the UK. The Surrey Hills sit at the heart — Box Hill, Leith Hill and Ranmore are Olympic-road-race famous. Kent has the Weald's rolling lanes and the Garden of England sportive loops. Sussex offers the South Downs Way (gravel paradise) and the coast road from Brighton to Beachy Head.
Major events include the Prudential Ride London Surrey 100, the Mad Jack around the High Weald, the South Coast 300 audax, and a packed Surrey/Kent/Sussex criterium league through summer.
