Audax rides

Long-distance self-supported rides — not a race, just you, a route sheet, and the will to keep pedalling.

Audax (or randonneuring) is long-distance self-supported cycling. Rides are untimed within generous limits — you ride at your own pace, navigate yourself via GPX or a route sheet, and collect stamps or receipts at control points along the way.

UK and Irish audaxes run from 100 km Populaires up to the 1,400 km LEL (London–Edinburgh–London). Completing 200, 300, 400 and 600 km events in a single year earns a Super Randonneur award and qualifies you for the legendary Paris–Brest–Paris.

Upcoming audaxes listed below — expect friendly riders, simple control points, and genuinely good cake.
