GHS Memorial Ride

Annual ride to commemorate the birthday of George Herbert Stancer, an early pioneer of cycling, and former secretary of the Cyclists' Touring Club (now Cycling UK). The ride is notionally 50 miles in 5 hours, but an allowance will be made for lunch and socialising with riders on other events. Event entry fee of £5 includes entry to Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington, where lunch will be available to purchase. Route sheet and GPX file are attached below.
